Some out there know I've been using Mozilla Firebird (formerly called Phoenix) for my web browsing. It's a standalone Gecko browser with a *Much* smaller footprint than the Mozilla Suite or Netscape.

I've been wishing for a standalone Mozilla-based mail app, stuck using either the full Mozilla suite or MS Outlook Express -- neither pleasant options for me....

...my prayers have been answered. Mozilla Thunderbird is now available.
